Georgia U21 Squad Announced
Soso Chedia announced the list with the players to integrate the Georgian U21 National Team for his personal debut on charge and the fourth match of the team in the present Qualifying Campaign against Switzerland.The match is going to be played in Tbilisi, on Lokomotivi's Mikheil Meskhi Stadium, the next 7th October.
The list has no major changes from the last squads used by the ex-coach Otar Gabelia, just the absence of the main central forward - Levan Mchedlidze - who was called up by Temur Ketsbaia to the National Team.
Goalkeepers: Georgi Makaridze (Le Mans, France), Tornike Zarkua (Dinamo Tbilisi) and Georgi Nadiradze (Dinamo Tbilisi).
Defenders: Levan Kakubava (Dinamo Tbilisi), David Khojolava (Dinamo Tbilisi), Nikoloz Afakidze (Dinamo Tbilisi), Ivane Kandelaki (Skonto Riga, Latvia), Solomon Kvirkvelia (Rubin Kazan, Russia), Nikoloz Jishkariani (FC Gagra), Lasha Kalandadze (FC Gagra) and Mamuka Kobakhidze (FC Zestafoni).
Midfielders: Nika Kvekveskiri (Dinamo Tbilisi), Jambul Jigauri (Dinamo Tbilisi), Irakli Lekvtadze (Dinamo Tbilisi), Tornike Tarkhnishvili (Torpedo Kutaisi), Givi Ioseliani (Torpedo Kutaisi), Tornike Okriashvili (Illychevts, Ukraine), Nika Dzalamidze (Wizdew Lodz, Poland), Valeri Kazaishvili (Vitesse, Netherlands) and Luka Guguchia (Baia Zugdidi).
